TERMS
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2, 2026
1. Service and Workspace authority
These Terms govern use of Tynous AI Office, a business software service operated by Tynous Technology Inc. You must be legally able to enter these Terms and, when acting for an organization, have authority to bind it. A Workspace owner or administrator is responsible for authorized membership and administration.
2. Customer data and other people
You retain ownership of the content and business data you provide or connect. You grant Tynous a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and support the service. You are responsible for accuracy, lawful use, required notices and appropriate authority for information about customers, prospects, employees, suppliers, correspondents and other people.
3. Accounts and members
Keep credentials secure, provide accurate account information, and promptly remove access that is no longer authorized. Workspace owners are responsible for invitations, roles and actions taken by their authorized members.
4. Connected services
Email, payment and other third-party services remain subject to their own terms, permissions, availability and verification requirements. Connecting a service authorizes Tynous to access it only for the enabled product functions. Some integrations may remain unavailable or limited while provider verification is pending.
5. AI assistance and Human Approval
AI-generated material is assistance, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and is not professional legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing business content and decisions. AI-prepared or Workspace business communications are not sent through a connected mailbox until an authorized owner or administrator reviews and approves the consequential send. Account verification, security, support, invitation and subscription-related service emails may be sent automatically.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully; infringe rights; send spam, deceptive or harmful communications; upload malicious code; bypass security, approval, access or usage controls; probe another customer's data; disrupt the service; or use the service to make high-impact decisions about a person without appropriate human review and lawful authority.
7. Tynous property
Tynous and its licensors retain ownership of the service, software, designs, documentation and related intellectual property. These Terms provide a limited right to use the service during an authorized account period and do not transfer that property.
8. Free and Paid plans
Available capabilities and limits depend on the plan shown in the service. Free allowances are non-recurring unless expressly stated. Paid subscriptions recur at the price, currency and interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Applicable taxes may be added or handled by the payment provider. Stripe processes payment instruments; Tynous receives subscription and payment-status information rather than full card details.
9. Cancellation, failed payments and refunds
You may manage or cancel a provider-managed subscription through Plan & Billing. You may cancel at any time, and paid access normally continues through the end of the current paid billing period. Paid subscription fees are generally non-refundable and are not prorated after a billing period begins, except where required by applicable law or where Tynous expressly agrees otherwise in writing. A failed or past-due payment may limit renewal or paid access after the applicable paid period and may require action through Stripe. Contact info@tynous.com for a billing question.
10. Suspension, termination and data
Tynous may suspend access reasonably necessary to address security risk, unlawful use, material breach, non-payment or harm to the service or others, and will use proportionate notice where practical. You may request account or Workspace closure. Closure disables further service use and begins the controlled data-lifecycle process described in the Privacy Policy. Limited security, audit, billing, accounting or legally required records may remain, and backups expire through their normal lifecycle.
11. Availability and changes
Tynous works to provide a reliable service but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may change, be limited or be discontinued for security, legal, provider or product reasons. Material changes affecting an active paid service will be communicated reasonably where practical.
12. Confidentiality
Each party will use reasonable care to protect non-public business information received from the other and will use it only for the service relationship, except where disclosure is authorized or legally required. This does not cover information already lawfully known, independently developed, public without breach, or lawfully received from another source.
13. Warranties and responsibility
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Tynous disclaims implied warranties that cannot reasonably be supported for an evolving online service. Neither party is responsible to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss where such exclusion is legally permitted. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Claims caused by misuse
You are responsible for claims arising from content or connected accounts you lacked authority to provide, or from your unlawful or material misuse of the service, to the extent the claim was caused by that conduct and permitted by law. Tynous remains responsible for its own conduct.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting mandatory rights that apply in another jurisdiction. The courts located in Ontario have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory law or written dispute arrangement that applies.
16. Privacy and contact
The Privacy Policy describes Tynous's handling of personal and business information and forms part of these Terms. Contact Tynous Technology Inc. at info@tynous.com or through the Contact page.
